We are Ranveig and Frank Jon and we are hosts to guests staying at the luxury cottage and in the arctic dome. It started about 15 years ago when we came back to this place where Ranveig´s grand parents built their home just after the 2nd World War. We then decided to renovate the house completely. It took us some years to complete and the next projects started to spin in our heads. A guest house built after the old sea sami tradition like people lived in before the war became a reality.

Some years after a big sauna in the same style was built and then two separate sleeping cabins appeared on the property. In the summer of 2004, we traveled north to inspect the property of Ranveig´s grandparents. It was in very poor condition, but we decided there and then to build it up again. In the first 10 years, we spent our time to renovate and expand the main house. Then we decided to build a guest house for friends and family.

But once you’ve completed one project, it’s hard to stop. Therefore, two new buildings were added to the property built in the same sea Sami style as the guesthouse. … and now the Arctic dome is the next project on our list.

We have lived for many years in the southern part of Norway and ended up there because of studies and work. Now we are back in the northern part of the country again. Renting out these properties is only a hobby for us. We do because it is fun to make people feel comfortable so close to nature. Kokelv is also a beautiful place on earth.

We both work fulltime as independent Herbalife members and have done so for the past 25 years.
